Privacy, in plain words

What we keep when you sign up for CryptoData's Market Brief, why we keep it, and how to get it removed.

Last updated

What we store when you subscribe

  • Your e-mail address.
  • Where you signed up (for example the homepage, the footer or the newsletter page).
  • When you signed up and when you confirmed, with the sentence you agreed to next to the form.
  • A one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself, used only to prevent abuse.

Before you confirm

Until you click the link in the confirmation e-mail, you're not added to anything. To stop the form being abused, we keep short-lived counters made from hashes (never your e-mail address or IP in readable form); they delete themselves within 24 hours.

Why

To send you the Market Brief and news about Data's Alpha Circle, which you asked for, and to be able to show that you asked for it. We don't sell your e-mail address or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who handles it

Sign-ups are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this website. E-mails are sent through Resend, our e-mail provider, which keeps a record of the e-mails we send you and whether they were delivered. Both process your data on our behalf.

Unsubscribing

Every e-mail has an unsubscribe link: one click and you won't get another. To have your sign-up record deleted as well, e-mail support@datasalphacircle.com.

This site sets no cookies and runs no ads or analytics scripts. Its font is loaded from Google Fonts, and Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver and protect it.
